Meet the All-New 2026 Nissan Rogue Plug-In Hybrid

November 18th, 2025 by

The future of family SUVs is arriving soon—and it’s more efficient, more flexible, and more tech-forward than ever. Introducing the 2026 Nissan Rogue Plug-In Hybrid, Nissan’s first-ever PHEV for the U.S. market. Although it hasn’t arrived yet at Walser Nissan Burnsville, excitement is already building thanks to its impressive blend of electric driving capability, three-row versatility, and rugged, all-weather confidence. This new Rogue PHEV brings together everything Minnesota drivers want: winter-ready performance, family-friendly space, and up to 38 miles of all-electric driving for daily errands.

Electric Driving for Everyday Life

The new Rogue PHEV is designed for the way people actually drive. With an EPA-estimated 38-mile all-electric range, it covers school runs, commutes, and errands without using a drop of gas. When the weekend calls, the hybrid system extends total range to up to 420 miles, delivering the long-distance flexibility Minnesotans rely on.

The powertrain blends a 20-kWh lithium-ion battery, two electric motors, and a 2.4-liter gasoline engine to create a seamless, responsive drive that produces 248 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque—quicker than the standard Rogue.

Drivers also get EV, Save, and Charge modes plus two regenerative braking levels, including an e-Step one-pedal driving function for smooth control.

Charging is simple, too. With a Level 2 home charger, the Rogue PHEV can fully recharge in about 7.5 hours, making overnight charging a breeze.

Standard AWD Confidence for Minnesota Roads

Every 2026 Rogue Plug-In Hybrid comes equipped with standard Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, ensuring confidence during Minnesota winters, rainy days, and rough backroads.

Nissan also equips it with seven selectable drive modes—Normal, Power, Eco, Tarmac, Gravel, Snow, and Mud—letting drivers tailor traction and performance to any situation.

Three-Row Comfort & Incredible Flexibility

Families will appreciate the Rogue PHEV’s thoughtful interior design. Unlike most compact SUVs, this model offers three rows and seating for seven, with a sliding, reclining, and quick-folding second row for easy access to the third row.

Cargo space is equally impressive. With up to 64.7 cubic feet of cargo capacity and the ability to fit objects up to 80 inches long, the Rogue PHEV is adventure-ready—capable of holding gear, golf bags, or even a mountain bike.

A motion-activated power liftgate and wide-opening rear doors make loading in kids or cargo effortless.

The interior also feels premium, thanks to soft-touch materials, acoustically laminated glass, and available leather-appointed seating. Higher trims add luxury amenities like heated rear seats, sunshades, illuminated accents, and a machined-aluminum trim panel.

Next-Generation Tech & Connectivity

Technology is a major highlight in the 2026 Rogue Plug-In Hybrid. Drivers enjoy a 12.3-inch reconfigurable digital instrument cluster, a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay® and wired Android Auto™, plus a wireless charging pad—all standard.

Platinum models go even further with:

  • 10-inch head-up display

  • Bose® 9-speaker premium audio

  • Dual 120-volt, 1,500-watt power outlets—perfect for camping or tailgating with small appliances.

Safety You Can Count On

Nissan includes an extensive suite of standard safety features—11 airbags and Nissan Safety Shield® 360, which brings Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, and more.

Every Rogue PHEV also includes:

  • ProPILOT Assist with Navi-link for reduced stress in highway driving

  • Intelligent Around View® Monitor with a 360° camera for easier parking and maneuvering

Bold New Look with Premium Details

The Rogue PHEV stands out with muscular body lines, dark-painted 20-inch wheels, black exterior trim, LED fog lights, and multi-element LED headlights. Inside, an intuitive control layout, elevated materials, and modern design elevate every drive.

Two Well-Equipped Trims: SL and Platinum

Nissan keeps the 2026 Rogue Plug-In Hybrid simple with two trims, each packed with features:

  • SL: 12.3″ driver display, heated front seats, LED fog lights, wireless charging, standard AWD, and more.

  • Platinum: Bose audio, head-up display, 120-volt outlets, heated rear seats, panoramic moonroof, leather-appointed seating, and a range of luxury upgrades.
